Just checked the weather forecast and sun all the way!
Wife and eldest daughter off to Manchester for a girls shopping trip. Me and youngest daughter (7yo) off to Glentress for the weekend in Dave the Campervan. Daughter very excited at thought of riding the green routes and giving the blue 'burm baby burm' a blast. Has anyone risen the trail along the river into Peebles?

Yep - it's great ... all the way to Innerleithen for coffee and cake at 'No 1 Peebles Road' 8)

Hope you enjoyed yourself. Dad daughter bike time is ace. This week saw myself and my youngest do glenlivet blue at the start of the week and then a wee bikepacking trip in the pentlands last night. Good times 🙂
Top weekend indeed! Got to Glentress in time for lunch. Made lunch in the Campervan up at Buzzards Nest car park, quick change of clothes and then off to the green skills area where youngest overcame her fears and cleared the balance beams - cue ear to ear grinning from the both of us. Next, two laps of the green route followed by snacks back at the van. Finished the day with two top runs down Burm baby Burm and BBQ down at the camp site!
Top trip aided by great weather!
Seriously recommend Glentress.
