I'm fed up with all this Covid nonesense, we need a serios discussion here.

Top Five Favouritest Jedi, in reverse order.

5. Luke Skywalker, that holo projection shit, that was cool.

4. Kanan Jarus, not a powerful Jedi but his fragility exposes how poor the likes of Rey were.

3. Anakin Skywalker, ok the middle bit wasnt good, but you know he was cool.

2. Obi Wan Kenobi, dry humour, calm, collected, defeated Anakin and Maul twice, awesome.

1. Ashoka Tano Darth, "revenge is not the Jedi way" Asoka, "I'm no Jedi".... cools as **** and hard as nails. Got to be number 1!!

Yoda was quite literally the shitest Jedi ever, presided over the clone wars and watched with a stupid befuddled look on his face as all the Jedi were wiped out!

I’m rewatching IV, V & VI this week. Last night I watched Empire for the first time in 20 years. Dear God! Yoda is such a prick.

1. Mace Windu. Beat Palpatine and only a combination of Anakin and the Emperor managed to take him down. Made Jango Fett look like a stormtrooper.

2. Luke Skywalker - not the biggest or the baddest, but a good balance of what it means to be a Jedi.

3. Obi Wan Kenobi, though I still don’t agree with them hiding at the end of the Clone wars.

4. Ashoka - agreed. A good sense of doing what’s right by the people regardless of whether it was the right by the tenets of being a Jedi.

5. Corran Horn. Ace pilot, great Jedi, hard as nails and a proper survivor.

Windu is tarred with the some brush as Yoda for me although I did consider him in the top five, a bit of a grumpy pants though and him and yoda should have done more to protect Anakin from Palpatine by trusting him.

This is a very serious thread, I had about 3 1/2hours to practise on a ride with my 9 year old boy yesterday!!!

Next thread will be top five favourite clones, always a contentious one as I hate commander Cody for trying to kill Obi Wan!!!

If we're doing favourite clones can you hang on for 12 months so I can rewatch all of the Clone Wars again 🙂 Rex is obviously up there, just seconded by the 11year old, but I'd need to double check and I've yet to watch the final season.

Jedi.

5. Anakin Skywalker, Clone Wars era, live action Anakin has badly damaged his rating.

4. Ezra Bridger, from little brat to jedi lore.

3. Obi-wan Kenobi, kicking Darth Mauls butt twice and cutting up whiny Anakin, should have finished the job to go higher up the list.

2. Mace Windu, purple lightsabre is boss according to the 11year old.

1. Ashoka Tano, facing Vadar down and turning her back on the muddled Jedi Order to forge her own way.

Honourable mentions to Luke and Tony for making a middle aged ground hugger fly.

This has sparked a conversation as to why the empire didn't just build a shed load of General Grevious droids to sort the Jedi out and not bother with clones...

It's cute that you know all their names.

Obi Wan is clearly the best, because Alec Guinness.

1. Jar Jar Binks
2-5. Anyone who writes ‘Jedi’ in the religion box of various forms and documents.

IIRC, General Grevious was a cyborg, not a droid. Oh, and Aayla Secura for the win...

5: Jules Winnfield because he’s a BMF

4: Ki Adi Mundi because conehead

3: Mr Woppit because of his devotion to organised religion

2: Derren Brown

1: Baby Yoda.

Special mention to Kit Fisto for the cheesy grin and because his name makes me giggle

@Steelfreak we stand  corrected, always good to learn, Wookiepedia backs you up. Phew I was worried there we had stumbled across a plot hole!

I feel a disturbance in the force, did @cha****ng say something? 🙂

I agree on Tano and Corran Horn. Anakin/Vader obviously must be a contender. Vergere is a personal favourite. Saba Sabytene, Teiri Veihla, and Aleema Rei deserve a mention (Thanks, Disney). For being badass and cool - Quinlan Vos. Also, Jaina Solo with Mandalorian training.

Jules Winnfield and Samuel Jackson are in the running, unfortunately Mace Windu has nothing going for him other than a purple lightsabre. Obi Wan was too fallible. Ezra never got past being a brat for me - I would be interested in the Tano/Sabine Renn quest though. Sorry, Perchy -I didn't get the Mr Woppit reference
You did want some serious discussion.

Will everyone who says Anakin please stop and think of the younglings.

Unforgivable irrespective of what happened afterwards. I think Daffy nails it although I would swap 2 and 3 putting Obi Wan 2nd.

I got so over excited about the EU that the Donnie Yen character got omitted from my list. Badass, cool and he doesn't even have a lightsabre (not a jedi either but I think he still counts).

My 9yo son says:
1 Obi Wan
2 Mace Windu
3 Yoda
4 Anakin
5 Plo Koon

He’s being quite strict about who can be counted as a Jedi.

My 7yo daughter:
1 Yoda
2 Obi Wan
3 Aayla Secura
4 Ahsoka Tano
5 Leia

She’s being a wee bit less strict.
