Is there anything bad about them as I seem to be eating bloody loads of them these days!
Certain varieties are surprisingly high in sugar. In fact there has been a concerted effort to increase the sweetness of most supermarket offerings.
Best of all if you can pick and eat them still warm from sunlight.

about half a teaspoon of sugar in your average Tom, loads of other stuff in there including fibre vitamins and something that keeps you young so not a bad place to get the sugar you do need.
And they taste nice, plum types are may favourite.
