Was it Simon Fowler? Used to bump in to him occasionally on Solihull High St in my lunch hour. After the first time he would always say hello. This was when they were at their commercial peak and some people would have been arrogant as hell.
Saw Oscar a couple of times in Snobs in Birmingham too.

I worked with the sister of an Ocean Colour Scene member. He got me various backstage passes which got me into the knickers of a girl named Vicky in a shoddy b&b in Blackpool. It was emotional.
Seemingly I saw Ocean Colour Scene play in Oxford before they got 'big'.
Luckily I have no memory of the event.

Today i discoverd an OCS CD i dont remeber buying AND I use the same forum as somone who went to school with an as yet unnamed OCS member.. The coincidence of that are frankly astonishing!

It wasn't - however, as far as I can make out from the internet, his brother married the sister of the person I went to school with. And I was actually in the same year as her, so she [i]might[/i] remember me, unlike her brother who most likely won't have a clue who I is. Prolly haven't seen her since we were 12 or something, but she was luuuurvely, a really nice person. Their mum and dad were sound, too. 🙂
