I'm having problems with my toasted sandwiches. I've never had problems in the past, but the last two I've made have been floppy, yellow disappointments - not the wonderful toasted crispness I'm accustomed to. But, I don't know what I've done wrong and I now need help. So what do you do?
The last two were farmhouse white with Kerrygold butter (as thin as I could get it) on the toasted side of the bread. Using a Waring deep fill sandwich toaster. Had it toasting for over 10 minutes. Fillings were cheese and ham and corned beef.
What am I doing wrong??
