Thinking of moving from O2 to Three to get a good deal on a new phone. Does anyone have experience of Three? Good or bad coverage / customer service?
Any info would be helpful!
Thanks

I was with them for a couple of years until about June last year and found them fine - I almost always had coverage and when I needed something from the customer service dept it was handled well. I do know of quite a few people with the opposite experience though.

My partner is on 3 and doesn’t get as good signal as me on Orange.

Only had to contact them once to upgrade and once recently to ask when contract was up – no issues on either occasion.

The only drawback is they don’t seem to have the latest handsets.

I use 3 for mobile broadband. Never had any issues with coverage or speed. I'm in Manchester city centre though so would expect coverage to be good.

Been with them 8 years, currently on sim only as I wanted a motorola defy and it's not available on three. Only paying 10 a month for 3Gb data, 300 mins, 1000 texts, 50 video calling mins, 50 mms texts and 5 quids worth of free downloads per month!

Data speeds are amazing and signal is very very good these days

We're on 3 via a VNO (Virtual Network Operator) for our work phones.

Coverage is dire at times - there's several chunks of the A55 (North Wales) where it's impossible to make a phone call.

Coverage, pricing and data speeds all pretty darn excellent. Customer service while pleasant and helpful can be extremely ineffective.

I was with O2 for 4-5 years then moved to 3 for 3 years. BIg mistake! I'm now back on O2 (via Tesco) and will not ever be going back to 3. Ever. The coverage was significantly poorer with 3 - but nothing to cause major concern. It was the customer service that did it for me. I found 3 to be very difficult and they outright lied to me on several occasions. Not only did they fail to help me, they made the situation worse and had no intention of giving me any kind of help.
