I fly in 8 days, the local branch can't find my tickets, claimed i picked them up a few weeks back, hhmm on the day when i was working 8-8 so i know it wasn't me.

2 phone calls today, we fly next saturday. how long should or would you give them until it starts getting to calling every hour until its sorted.

Never happened before normally they are pretty good, just seems like a balls up this time.

I'm not surprised that they lost your tickets if they were that loose.

If its a package holiday then you will just get a ticket on departure or you will travel on an amended confirmation which will be a e-ticket system, but you won't have to print off extras like ryan air.
If its flight only then it will just be an eticket format.
Nothing to panic about!

regards
Craig

Ask them for replacements or to confim that you can use e-vouchers or e-tickets or e-whatever for the package trip

If they are so sure, then they must have a method of proving this? A signature upon collection or something?
If not, then ask them how they can be so sure?

Last time I got tickets from a travel agent I turned up, gave my name and they gave me the tickets. No id or anything. I assume that they think if the tickets arne't there, someone collected them.

Have you checked that the agent hasn't given them to someone else with the same name (ie, someone walked in and said 'I am collecting tickets under the name of 'Smith'' and they simply gave them the wrong ones.

At the end of the day, no-one else will get anywhere on your tickets (unless they all share the same names) so I don't see an issue in you being provided with replacements.

Just explain to the shop that you haven't collected your tickets, i can probably guess what they have done but it would take to long to explain. They will probably issue you a t.o.d but we have to wait till within seven days of travel, they shouldn't charge you for the t.o.d or e-ticket.
You don't need id to collect your tickets as no one else can go anywhere with them, and you would need a smith going on the same date to give out wrong tix. . . . but its not impossible that they have given the wrong ones out.
