Well it seem to have kicked in here with 20 degrees and wall to wall sunshine. Let's hope it stops with us as we've booked camping this weekend on the strength of the weather mans say so! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Booked the rest of the week off now.
Better not rain, or there's going to be blood on the steps of the met office ๐Ÿ™‚

Sunny as owt in Manchester. Should stay long enough for a big dry ride at w/e and then we can enjoy the usual thunderstorms while in work.

It's stunning here in the tropical Midlands. Was supposed to be building the girlfriends wardrobes while she is at uni but all I have managed to do is play on my bike in the sunshine.

I will suffer the consequences later whilst sporting a cycling tan.

But how will the Pale Blue people cope, Jeremy? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I hope contingency measures have been put in place. It's very worrying. ๐Ÿ˜

Aaaaaaargh... they turned the office heating on for the winter last week during a cold snap. So I'm currently sat in a pool of warm sweat with the windows as wide open as I can get them.

I don't know if a sunny day really constitutes the Indian summer/heatwave that the media is reporting.. but hey ho..

It has gotten quite warm here now that the mist has burnt off.. I don't really fancy opening the windows though due to the high number of wasps around.. is anyone else getting this..?

But it's not just "a nice sunny day" is it? Into the mid twenties here yesterday, outside thermometer currently reading 25, and the forecast for the next few days is 25, 25, 26, 25. If that's not an Indian Summer I don't know what is (the only possible point of contention being that an Indian Summer usually seems to mean September and this is going on into October!)

Absolutely gorgeous here in Wales - hot, sunny and set to continue for the next few days. Managed to fit in 4 hours riding today, planning on the same tomorrow, going swimming in the sea on Friday ... shorts, shades, summer dresses and sandles ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy, happy days!
