Things to do in Belo Horizonte

Just posted in the bike forum asking about the wisdom of riding in Brazil.

Some mates and I are going to Belo for three weeks for a friends wedding. Just wondering if anyone had recommendations for things to do/see/taste/drink in Minas Gerais. At the minute we've got very little on the itinerary! Thanks

Not specifically Belo Horizonte but Brazil in general. Drink caipirinhas. Eat coxinha. Drink chopp. Eat picanha. Drink more chopp. Eat pao de queijo. Realize your trousers no longer fit.
