VAR though. Everyone moaning at the time taken for the West Ham goal and the lack of time taken tonight.
I think as ever with these VAR decisions you look to the players reactions first and no one was asking for a penalty.
Gotta feel for Hearts, not only to they have to beat Celtic on the final day at their place they've also got the referees to beat.

Given that Hearts have 28 points more than last season, I think thats a bit harsh.

Not really. Compare Hearts resources and spend last summer to Celtic’s. Also look at their points total last season. They have massively over-achieved.
How many points have Celtic gained in injury time this season? Off the top of my head there’s last night and wins v Killie, Dundee and St Mirren. A draw with Rangers? They do keep going until the end.

It was pretty spectactular - he knew exactly where to put for Semenyo, despite having his back to goal.
On form Foden is a magical player.
Hmm that angle of the 'penalty' does look like it hits his arm after all. It also looks like his arm has been forced into the ball by the opponent however
Either way, no way that's given against celtic. How can they give that but not the one in favour of hearts in the last game is beyond me (well not really, I know exactly why).
That Foden back heel was the match highlight - he was doing a lot of that a few years ago. Still think Arsenal can win it but also City always come strong at the end of the season, so I'll stick my neck out and say it could be either of them.

I think that both halfs of the old firm get an easy ride from Scottish referees. I dont know if its conscious bias or just the huge pressure of handling games involving Celtic or Rangers. The media are also to blame for this the play a game of being sanctimonious about any sectarianism or indeed any association of any political causes with football. Yet the media also whip up hysteria and add to the "pressure cooker" environment by repeating sensationalised drivel in print on radio tv and social media.
I an a Celtic supporter. I believe that was a penalty. I believe this is a poor Celtic team. Even the fans have not been behind them for large parts of the season.Yet they have not given up and that is to their credit. I believe it would be good for Scottish football if Hearts or any team other than the old firm were to win the league. Do I want that to happen? No not on Saturday not this season and next season it will be the same.
VAR shouldn't have got involved as it wasn't a clear and obvious error, that much is clear. Once they sent him to the monitor there was no way, in front of a baying mob of Septic fans that he wasn't going to give them a penalty. Intimidation from the ugly sisters and their supporters has a huge impact.

I thought it was 500. Either way it’s a disgrace, the SFA need to get a grip of Rangers and Celtic, and sort out the allocations for away fans. But they won’t.

I read that the small ticket allocation is similar to that implemented by Hearts for all visiting teams bar Hibs a few years back so they could prioritise their season ticket holders. So less of a papist conspiracy and more equality of treatment. Please God Celtic win (with a couple of soft penalties thrown in).

certainly a very unsavory ending to the game with reports that some Hearts players were assaulted when the pitch was invaded.
Well, Hearts got a few minutes closer than in 1986. I think the gap between the Old Firm and the rest is as small as it’s been in decades, hopefully they can go again next season.
Totally agree with the comments above about the pitch invasion, perhaps not the automatic sanction if awarding a win to the other team though.

It was a glaringly obvious handball. As soon as it showed the replay I thought there would be no way on earth that the goal would stand. When it went to VAR I knew full well it wouldn’t. I can’t recall ever seeing a ref overturn a VAR decision like that.
