That’s the season done and dusted, surely?

Does a massive goalkeeping howler count as a goal from open play? That’d be a first for Arsenal, particularly from a forward who hasn’t scored since the last ice age

Great result for City but, if they win at Burnley it only ties them on points with Arsenal.

But with probably better goal difference and also the better in the head to heads.

It makes it a 5 game sprint to the line. And here's the form guide of the last 5 games, on the basis confidence and momentum is vital.

Arsenal- LWLDL F4/A6

City- LWWWW F12/A3

I know who I think are favourites

Yeah, I think there’s scope for some twists yet. Arsenal were decent today, and an inch or so from going 2-1 up.

Sliding doors moment with Wirtz choosing Liverpool and City ending up with Cherki. What a player! And £80m cheaper than Wirtz.

Looks like Leeds are safe then?

It does, especially with the run-in we have, but I am not taking anything for granted. It's the next two games that will tell us if we are in for a nervy finish or not.

Arsenal- LWLDL F4/A6

City- LWWWW F12/A3

Assuming Citeh beat Burnley to go top, I'd say Arsenal have an easier run in for the last few matches (in theory).

MW Arsenal Man City
33 - Burnley (A)
34 Newcastle (H) FA Cup semi-final
35 Fulham (H) Everton (A)
36 West Ham (A) Brentford (H)
37 Burnley (H) Bournemouth (A)
38 Palace (A) Villa (H)
TBC - Palace (H)

But my money would still go on MC, because Arsenal.

Of the BBC pundits - the only one that doesn't think City will win is Rooney - I reckon this is down to his obvious ManUtd connections & the fact he is an idiot.

Looks like the league will be decided by goal difference, as both their run ins on paper should be maximum points.

Nah, we're fine. No chance Spurs win three out of five and we fail to get another point.

I'd like to share your positivity, but anything can happen.

I reckon one of them will get an unexpected draw that will cost them the title. My head says that will be Arsenal, my heart is still "anyone but City again"

It will be decided well before goal difference is looked at. I think with 2-3 games to go.

You mean by justice being served on 115 charges of cheating presumably? 😉

Or maybe there will be justice for the 1919 dodgy decision to promote Arsenal despite them finishing in fifth place in the last season before the war interrupted the league.

Save Spurs and relegate Arsenal who have been playing in a league that they bribed themselves into for more than a century 🤨

Even by STW standards, that's some grudge to still be holding.
