Orbital - Halcyon
What's yours? 8)
Klf - chill out
/thread closed
Groove armada- At the River.
Adajio for strings...not the tiesto or William Orbit version !
Not a fan of Groove Armada but At the River brings back some good memories.....
Massive Attack, Teardrop.
/\ took the words right out of my .. fingers.
Its not dark yet - Bob Dylan
Øystein Sevåg & Lakki Patey - "Cahuita", followed immediately by
Slow Pulse feat. Cathy Battistessa - "Riva"
La femme d'argent by Air.
I raise you most of what Kruder n Dorfmeister put together. They are pure genius to my ears.
Sabres of Paradise, Smokebelch II, the beatless mix.
To chill out properly takes time, so you need the whole album.
So, aphex twin, selected ambient works, and moon safari by air.
Edit, and royskop as well.
Hoppipolla - Sigur Ros, lovely [s]song[/s] track
Edited due to brain not working
+1 for hippy's comment about a whole album.
Although A Man Called Adam - Easter Song just popped in to my head.
Miles Davis 'Kind of Blue'.
Anything from zero7 or from back in the day, The beloved.
So many to chose from... whole albums aside (which is what you really need), my top three might be:
Global Communication 12:18
Susumu Yokota Kodomatchi
Slowdive Country Rain
AIM cold water music.
Far too many to narrow it down to one, but right now it's this....
Warning, the video contains a gimp, oral fisting and sideboob.
Planet Caravan - Pantera
Planet Caravan - Pantera
You mean Black Sabbath?
Scott Kelly and the Road Home - Pretty much anything on his album:
Talking Sabbath - Changes...
Pantera version just for the groundbreaking video.
I did not know Scott Kelly had solo stuff, thanks!
Really? His new album, from which that track comes is truly amazing.
The Pantera version is excellent, I must say [whispers] I kinda prefer it to the Sabbath version [whispers]

Haven't been listening to Neurosis very long, saw a band call A Storm of Light support Converge, investigating them the next morning wiki said the frontman was the visual artist for Neurosis so I followed the trail.
I saw that tour as well (at Brighton), opened by The Secret, who were amazing.
Anything by The XX. Nighttime is nice.
On the other side of the coin, Jesu. So good.

4 Hero- Les Fleur
Tosca- Rolf Royce
Smith and Mighty- The Way We Feel
The Beastie Boys- Sabrosa
I was in the same room...at the same time...
Woahhhhhh man!!!
+1 on Kruder & Dorfmeister, though my choice has to be [url=
- Mogwai Fear Satan
[url=
One Dove - Fallen Best come down track.
[url=
Spacemen 3 - Lord, Can You hear Me? Just perfect.
Eno, genius. Try these.
Underworld Rez (I think something like the nuxx remix). Immense track.
Yeah, needs at least half an album (!), so:
Air Moon Safari
Pink floyd Echoes or (The whole of) WYWH
J.J. Cale Travelogue ( if I need to stay awake)
Got to be John Cage - 4'33" for me...
Pure bliss!
Really needs a proper listening room and a top notch HiFi to really appreciate it though... It's one track I will never ever tire of though! 😉
High hopes.
Or red dust by zero 7.
Heroin - Velvet underground, It's the song that I've listened to, flat on my back, more times than I care to admit
Right, I have two choices.
1 converge, concubine. Sounds like someone smashing your face in with 20 sledgehammers. But I've listened to it so much its reassuring.
Next is Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Carry on. Makes me feel like the past 30 years aint happened, and Im a content hippy
Or Deftones, Back to School.not really Chill Out in a club style, but I'm into it. And so should you.
Morcheeba - The Sea
The whole 'Big Calm' album actually.
From Med School 101:
The XX - Intro
M83 - Outro
