[#5362260]

just seen this on FB with a pic of the former princess of wales holding a sprog, presumably her own....

Guardian Angel

To my son William, and lovely Kate
I'm looking from above
If I could only hold my grandchild
I would give him so much love

You know I've never left you son
I've watched you grown into a man
I'm a mother that is very proud
I hope you understand

To hold a grandchild in my arms
How would I feel today
All the hurt that was in my past
I know would fade away

If only God had spared me
To spend some time with you
But our ways our not God's ways
There was nothing I could do

I'm glad that you found happiness
It means the world to me
Yet it doesn't seem so long ago
I nursed you on my knee

I'll watch my grandchild growing
From Heaven up above
I'll be his Guardian Angel
And make sure he's filled with love

God look after all of them
As they journey through this life
My darling son, their little one
And Kate his loving wife.

love
from
Mum

wtf.

I wonder why this film is banned?

In addition to the disdain of the royals after splitting from Charles, remember her work trying to ban landmines~ Clinton was set to sign a treaty banning them, though he changed tack after her death

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_did_Diana_Princess_of_Wales_help_ban_land_mines

http://www.nytimes.com/1997/09/18/opinion/america-absent-on-land-mines.html

she also received threats from defence minister Nicholas Soames

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/28297/Accidents-can-happen-Warning-to-Diana-from-Prince-Charles-s-friend

and of course, Jimmy Savile pops in for good measure:

I can only assume that it's because it contains Piers Morgan.

wiki says it needed 87 cuts

As it was funded by Al fayed I can only imagine the truth it can tell. If there was one objective rational source of information on this incident i would go to it is the grieving father with the axe to grind.
Good source of unbiased information

Praise or sarcasm I cannot decide so Chapeau 😀

A good friend buys all this so I enjoy the debate on it.
I am sure there will be some truth in one of them but I dont know which one and many are incredulous to be fair. JFK would be my bet if I had to gamble.

Regardless of funding, the facts remain

I shall save that quote for future arguing 😉

Truth be told, I'm struggling to decide too, but I'm feeling nice, so take it as praise 😉

George is a beautiful British name. A proper royal name too.

The most read story on the BBC this morning was 'Royal baby yet to be named' or similar...does that really need a whole article?

So he's only a few hours old and he has already a questionable personality ?

Some folks are just born that way 😀

Nevertheless, lets give him the benefit of the doubt... maybe he'll be the 1st Royal to condemn war?

Well I'm fascinated to learn that he's already a "****" despite only being alive for a few hours, most of which presumably involved sleeping, with occasional breaks for feeding.

He looks quite innocent :

Said it before but... I'm not a royalist - in fact more republican than anything and I begrudge the cost the civil list represents. However, it really takes a special kind of person to resent a small baby or be cynical about how joyous the arrival of a new baby is to new parents, their family and friends...

Yes, there is too much pointless media coverage, no he isn't any more special than any other baby, but ranting wont change it. Best to ignore it, work positively towards the changes you want in society or accept the society you live in...

Oh and George is a great name! It's the name of my late and second favourite uncle, the name of my favourite Beatle and the second name of one of my sons.

I'd imagine that anyone in close proximity to Soames would be worried they were about to be eaten

Nice to have Kaesea back though.

I think its the media circus surrounding it that gets folk's backs up.

Personally I am delighted fro them
However I dont need the media circus nor care any more than when two other complete strangers have a baby

Camped outside for weeks when the announcement would not even be made at the hospital and then updating me constantly about the fact they have no information what so ever to tell me

Whats become clear over the last week is that the royal family do actually perform an essential public service.

They give the terminally bewlidered, and hopelessly naive simpletons something to coo over. And temporarily distract the Daily Mail reading classes from spittle-flecked rants about illegal immigrant lesbian single mothers on benefits.

And of course, they are invaluable to the survival of the ceramics industry

OK, I admit it, I forgot about the ceramics industry and their mugs.

Maybe that's what saw to the Greek economy 😆
