However, it really takes a special kind of person to resent a small baby or be cynical about how joyous the arrival of a new baby is to new parents, their family and friends...

Yes, there is too much pointless media coverage, no he isn't any more special than any other baby, but ranting wont change it. Best to ignore it, work positively towards the changes you want in society or accept the society you live in...
