I would say bivvying at 28,000 feet on Everest in the open with no sleeping bag (as Stephen Venables did) is a bit more hardcore.

There was an obese bloke in Dundee who didn't eat for months - maybe a year IIRC. Under medical supervision and received vitamins etc as part of a weight loss study.
So one fat bloke not eating for two months, certainly possible if he could drink melted snow, but the circumstances do sound massively far-fetched.
