Featuring Traffic droid a videoing cyclist in london and T F L, looks good.

Not that anyone on here is a serial complainer.

That traffic droid is a weird bloke. He's memorised the highway code and traffic law and then cites it at people who treat him badly. Not that any of them listen because they're looking for a fight. He has 328 cameras on his bike

Met him many times. Lovely guy as a person, but really rather worryingly obsessive when it comes to the camera work!

All very good if it raises awareness, but for someone who WANTS to be seen, why does he dress in black?

Sadly these days, people are on the offensive the moment you pull them up about something trivial like pulling out in front of you. All it would take would be an apology or even a SMIDSY.
Had this happen the other day, car pulls out from a side road and because of my speed, I was able to draw alongside the drivers window and ask her if she'd actually bothered looking. My thanks for pointing out I was inches away from leaving a face shaped dent in the boot? A torrent of abuse from the passenger. Oh ok then. Rsole.

what I can't work out from the adverts is how they knew

a) who'd be complaining

and

b) which poor sod in the call centre would be receiving the call

otherwise we'd only get half of each call?

Just had a go at some **** riding through a red light, so he's fine in my book.

Did anyone else notice that he went through a red light himself?!

I saw that. Or at least thought I saw that, but figured it must be my imagination - thinking about it I suspect it might have been a red light for traffic going in the other direction.
I do love the fold out yard stick ๐Ÿ™‚

I can see Tony's heart sink when faced with the management- speak "we have had some non-positive feedback, regarding some non-verbal communication you entered into"

If he does get any sex, he films and then shouts at his wife for coming first.

I didn't know he had a red card. He's just gone from 'a bit weird' to 'super fricking awesome!' in my book.

How can anyone with a red card not get more sex than Steve McQueen?

During sex it must be like being hit by a truck at night for his wife

Think about it..

He needs to learn how to wear his helmet properly - that chin strap is all but redundant!

I missed the beginning of this. Does he have a destination, or does he just ride around being looking like a moron, provoking motorists?

I though the TfL bloke that went to meet with the droid bloke was quite tactful, but the guy just wasnt listening.
some of the bus "passes" he was going apeshit about were partly his fault for riding at the edge of the road lanes, and partly because there simply isn't enough space. I did think his defensive riding could have been better too.
If he makes to 60 without having a heart attack I'll be surprised.

As for Mr Bott what a complete old bastard. What sort of oddity has a poster of the world map on their sitting room wall?

One of them was a normal human being. The other one wasn't.

I looked at some more of his youtube clips.

He has some significant anger issues. He seems to some sort of phobia towards buses, every time one passes he leans on his horn then starts shouting abuse. It doesn't seem to matter if they are too close or not, and invariably, they are not.

Ironically, for the benefit of his health, he really needs to stop cycling. It will not be the buses that kill him, it will be his stress levels.

And yes, he did jump a red light in last nights programme. Was so preoccupied with his technology.

I agree with you there Frank, in fact this programme seemed to be more about laughing at people with pyschological problems than about complaints.

loved traffic droid a seriously eccentric cyclist, well done to him, perghaps he should be a contributor on here, or his clones already may be.

and that bus driover who went to naughty school, obviously shouldnt be driving a bus he had obvious problems with customers and other road users.

He got cyclists noticed and talked about in all the media it appears .

The bus driver?

You can bet your life any media generated by "traffic droid" will be utterly negative.
As a cyclist, I hope I don't get mistaken for one of his kind.

Traffic Droid is my new hero. ๐Ÿ˜† Thought he was brilliantly full of good intentions that were poorly executed. The tfl bloke did a good job on the diplomacy front and gave Droid food for thought. Just hope that he takes a different approach.

I can't image what it's like cycling in London but I do get regular reports from my commuting son who possesses a bit of a short fuse.

Thing is, car drivers won't change their ways but we can all play a part in politely pointing out misdemeanours where it's safe to do so.

Go Droid. ๐Ÿ˜€

droid got hit by a car last year, he filmed it all in his usual way and the car drove off. The driver was just convicted and got six points and a fine. Get the message out there. You treat cyclists like shit, chances are you might be filmed. Brilliant. Tell everyone.

Oh blimey, that's awful samuri. Yes, we're treated like second-class citizens but, as could be seen in that programme and confirmed by my son, loads of cyclists jumping red lights that really angers car drivers. We all need to do our bit, we're not above the law and neither are car drivers.

Steps off soap box. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
