MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Went to watch it with Mrs F today. Our first cinema trip in eight years. I went in with an open mind and thought it was a fantastic film. Tied with The Dark Knight for my favourite Batman movie
Yeah, saw it Friday, thought it done well in areas, not so well in other areas, they were close to making it a really good one though, it was aimed at being Batman the Detective, and highlighting Batman in his infancy, just needed a couple of the scenes to be a bit more fitting to that and trimming it down from nearly 3 hours, it could have knocked half an hour off easily without losing much.

Really?
Yep, two young kids and nobody to look after them. Why would I randomly state it if it wasn’t a fact? We’ve been individually but not together
You had the same issue i had, i literally dropped my girl off at school on Friday, went home, sorted stuff out and was at the 1030 showing, then off to pick her up from school at 1430, i wasn't hanging around for any after credit scenes! Day off work to watch a film, first time i've done that.
Excellent, Have booked tickets for tomorrow night.
Went to see The Batman with my boys today. Both are comic book nerds, I taught them well, and we all loved it.
A massive nod to the detective stories, as opposed to the action film history. It still he’d lots of action though. Style wise it took lots of inspiration from the early art graphic novels from the 1990s onwards.
Brilliantly done. Loved it. Now need to find out what the flash of text was in the post credit scene.
lorded it up at the everyman in Manchester on Saturday.
loved it, on the bat-o-spectrum its closer to the joker that george cloony.
dark and flawed but could easily have lost 30mins in the edit
Yep enjoyed it.
But also thought it a bit too long.
Also cat woman….I know we suspend belief for a Batman movie….but at the end, how did he sneak up to her on his motorbike? It was parked next to hers about 1.5 metres away from where she was stood.
Minor quibble but was pointed out by my daughter.
It was also very loud. I was tempted to sneak my 13 year old in, was glad I didn’t. Possibly just a touch too noisy and the soundtrack may have made her a bit uncomfortable (loud scream sounds just as attacks happened)
I agree it could’ve definitely benefited from some editing. The middle section did drag a bit. The sound design was fantastic and I really like the car.
Glum and plodding with no sense of excitement.
Good cinematography, that's about it. Even that became too claustrophobic after a bit.
There was a good film in there somewhere.
Just been to see it as my wife and son wanted too. We had ticket vouchers or I'd not have bothered myself.
About what I expected,ok, but I'd not be saying you've got see it. It was probably worth seeing it on the big screen though rather than our little telly sometime in the future.
Really?
Bet it's longer than 8 years for me.
Mate of mine loves all the superhero stuff, especially Batman and liked it very much.
I saw The Dark Knight at the cinema if that counts?

I was blown away. I went in with low expectations, but was very impressed. It’s a good take on Batman and Bruce Wayne.
I thought this was the first time they've actually pulled off the whole 'he's a conflicted, broken person' schtick. Loved it tbh!

I think I went from 2009 (Wake in Fright) to 2021 (The French Dispatch). Same reasons.
Just got back. Enjoyed it but thought it was 45 minutes too long. Also Val Kilmer was the best Batman 😉.
...but he wasn't the best K.I.T.T!
