We're getting there
🤩 The sun is out, the birds are shouting, and I'm leaping out of bed in excitement to get outside. Probably my favourite time of year.
My legs are having a day off today after 40km of slimey mess yesterday... the trails need a week of drying yet for the real fun... but it's getting there, slowly.
I'm not getting overly excited just yet, next weeks forecast is for hail and rain.
It has turned a corner it feels like. Lots of colour starting to appear in the garden now. Just need some sun!

Did my first outside ride in a few weeks yesterday, hoped for quieter trails/ canals given it was cold and grey, with a hint of sun, but no. Bonkers everywhere. However, trails very much drier than a few weeks back and lovely to see the flowers out and water fowl building their nests.

It is, but what he doesn’t show you is the muddy mess that is the trail running along the river 😃
Love spring. I was out at 6.30 am today, making the most of the dry weather. I rode through Aylesford too.

So nice to feel the firmness in the local tracks this weekend, still some give but not the gloop of previous rides, and the birds song and the deer in the woods jumping out on you and the daffs. Yes spring is banging firmly on the door to be let in
