[Closed] Texting an e-mail address

Does anyone know how easy it would be to set up something whereby people can send a text that gets delivered to an e-mail address?

If so, how, and ideally I'd like a short number that people can text - also do-able?

This is a work thing, trying to organise something, relevant dept a bit slow, trying to get the info myself.
