A few more opportunities on the way to work this morning:

I still keep missing bits of image out though and end up having to crop a lot out.

yes, that often happens to me too - it can be hard to guess exactly what will fit in, especially if you shoot 2 rows, and I always have to crop as the distortions applied always result in curved edges to the tiles. Just make sure you use a wide angle focal length.

cylindrical and full frame seem to have the best effect.

Maybe i need to shoot from closer to the object and on a wider angle then.

can't get that link to work..

you need to remove the http:// at the start, you have it twice...

Ah, that was using the short cuts. As you have prob worked out when it comes to IT i am somewhat challenged.
