Planning on picking up an induction hob from work to go into the new kitchen I'm putting in.

Found a Hotpoint induction hob and it's orginal price was £499, we're now selling them for £119 as it's last years model, minus my 30% discount works out around £84.

Worth a punt??

Maybe - but then you have to buy all new pans. We had one and it was a royal pain in the arse - kept deciding not to turn on for some reason. Back to gas - not so fancy but good for actually, you know, like ... cooking!!

A friend of mine has just put one in and he is very happy with it. He can't get gas, so went for induction. It is so fast it is amazing.
