Got new computer so attempting to sync my iPod.
Had the message that says you can only sync with one computer do you want it to be this one.
Said yes.
Sync started and its taking forever and not done a song yet. Anything I can do?

Depends but if you think it's taking too long it'll do no real harm cancelling it.

What does iTunes say it is doing?
Are you syncing movies/ebooks/audiobooks/games/apps as well?
