When I worked for the local council we had a slide where someone had ripped the lower part open in the middle like a can so if a child had slid down it would have ripped their backside open. Once came across a tyre swing where someone pushed a Stanley blade into the tyre.

This kind of shit and cruelty to animals just makes me want to do bad things to the people concerned. And that isn’t right either.

There is a large park behind my parents' house, with a decent playground.

Growing up, there wasa a laarge blue helter skelter slide and a much higher, faster, dead straight metal one. It was well known from a young age that before going down the straight one, you always ran up it to look for razor blades; the construction of it meant that there was a groove at either edge where a razor blade could be wedged.

No idea the mentality of those who would do that kind of thing though.

Just saw that in a BBC news item on Flipboard, similar things have been going on for years, and I’ve yet to arrive at an explanation as to why anyone could wilfully carry out such an action. I can only guess it’s some sort of sadistic desire to inflict pain on others without actually having the balls to do it in person. It’s clearly someone in need of psychiatric help. Preferably for a couple of decades in a secure institution.
