obviously you need an earth, permanent live, switched live and 8 speaker wires,i have an earth, permanent live,i will have to find a switched live from behind the dash, and i have millions of other wires,i think it has an amp in the boot and a small sub, which is oe,but what goes where?

why not just buy an iso harness. £10-15 in halfrauds. makes life so much easier to put in aftermarket head unit, literally plug and play. all the jiggery pokery is taken care of within the harness, just buy the correct one for your car.

The nearest you can pick up a permanent live is from the fuse box at the end of the dash, not hard to get one but it is a bit of a pain, I'm not sure if ISO harness will work or not, IIRC there is no permanent live there, but if it does then that sound like the sensible option.
