Looking for a something 1-2 foot max to take the body boards on.

Staying between Caernarfon and Llanberis. Recommendations much appreciated.

Rhosneigr on Anglesey is probably your best bet.

Depending on weather / tides, there may be enough waves to mess about on at Dinas Dinlle near Caernarfon.

(Hells mouth otherwise - watch out for the rips. May be able to hire in Abersoch).

Definitely surf schools in Abersoch so probably hire also.
Porth Ceriad (in-between hell's mouth and Abersoch) also good for surf but on a slightly different wind direction....getting there is more "involved".

Water temp is currently about 20c according to my fish finder..... Lovely.

Porth Ceriad

High in the top 10 of my near death experiences 🙁

Also a steep trek down a cliff to get to it - not sure I would recommend...

As Tillydog says, speaking from a kayakcentric view.

Plenty of people (including families) use the beach so it can't be "that" difficult - but I swim in from the boat and it's been a long time since I walked down.
Hells Mouth is way easier to get to, has free parking and safety in numbers from a surfing POV.

Cable Bay still on? used to be a fave of mine. Better waves than Rhos and easy to get to. Aberfraw has a nice little stream which takes you out if all is good. Had some great 2 footers here with the 10foot mal.

If you are there now then there will be nothing until Wednesday....
Wed - Fri there will be some windy messy waves to play in. I would go to cable bay on Anglesey for small body board on Wed - Fri. Hells mouth might feel a bit wild!
If we are talking some point in the next few weeks then 1-2ft max is not that simple a Q.

Adventure park Snowdonia?
We’re just back from a week in Abersoch and found the best body boarding (for the kids) was at Whistling Sands. 2foot ish waves, occasionally higher. Plus there’s a belter of a cafe on the beach.

Flat as a pancake everywhere within a hours drive today so ended up in the little bay east from Rhosneigr for a swim and snorkel. What a cute beach. Freezing water!

Description fits Cable Bay (Poth Trecastell 🙂 )

One of my favourites too.
