Nice to see road users looking out for each other. The number of times I got taken out by pedestrians in London as a bike courier just walking into the road without looking. God knows what it’s like these days with everyone distracted by their mobiles.

tbh my impression of driving in London has changed massively over the years, once you get tuned into it it just sort of works. It’s not really a race, egos don’t get bruised if you dare try to change lane or heaven forbid get in front of someone you were behind 4 junctions back. Just remember whoever is ahead has right of way and indicate and people will let you get where you need to be. Twice the traffic in half the space of Cardiff (the ratio is actually much greater than that of course, but that’s how it feels) but less stressful once you tune in.
