Car SOS.

How annoying is Tim Swan? I just want to punch him. I appreciate this may be part of the role he plays.

By contrast, Fuzz Townsend seems a really nice informative guy.

Anyone would be annoying if people didn't use their correct name.

I personally don't find Tim Shaw that annoying but then I set my baseline from Mike Brewer.

We record it on Sky+ to fast forward any bits that involve him. Top tip right there

Some of his scripted bits are cringey but enjoyed the show and they restore some interesting cars to a good standard. Loved that citroen.

Don't you know anything? He made his fortune from a series of daring thefts from a well known hotel chain.

Delighted that my faux pas has created some humour for the minnows.

Tim Shaw is a pretty kind guy if you look beyond the presenting, at how nicely he talks over the life problems with the friends and families of the people who's cars they repair/restore. You can see he gets a lot of satisfaction from what they do.

He's a little bit verbose or 'putting on an act' I dare say, but I think he's a decent chap.

Most people liked Rolf Harris - a TV persona isn't much to go on.

I think Car SOS is the best car show on telly.

Rather than making the tame mechanic get greasy and work for a week solid on a total shed just to turn a couple of hundred quid profit for his 2nd hand car salesman "mate", the premise seems to be all about understanding the car, the family it's from, and making sure it is then subject to a quality restoration.

It's a Giulietta Spyder NOT a Giulia spyder. Get it right!!
But I agree Tim Shaw can be quite sensitive when he wants to be

Just realised I might have gone to early on the rant. It may be a 101 series ??

Aah. Didn't realise. Only saw the en bit.
It's nice to see so much love and time expended to raise a smile, not to profit.
