lol = not for me!!! (seems to be no chance of that on the near horizon, anyway!!). An old friend's sister is getting married later in the year so I need a dress. My mind is a blank...

I've been decorating - 460 square feet of wooden flooring later and I'm a broken women, but with a LOVELY new floor!! 🙂

And it was really good to spend quality time with my dad. Even if it was mainly clicking together bits of wood, over and over and over again!!!

Coast have some stunning dresses at the moment. Deffo worth a look.

Dont mind the being married bit - tis the blinkin faff that you have to go through to keep everyone happy in the lead up to it.

Oh.. wood flooring.. done that one!

I was watching a camera I wanted with 4 mins to go, Mrs Grips said 'oh check what time the garage opens tomorrow'.. so like a fool I did, forgot about the auction cos the garage website wasn't working and now someone else has my stupidly cheap camera.. 🙁

BTFU. Tell them it's your wedding, if they don't like it don't come.

I shall have to make a visit to Coast, then - maybe next month, though - just managed to spend £200 between White Stuff and Joules today!!

Still, got plenty of stuff for the GOGO Festival week after next... 🙂

I've spent the weekend rediscovering pushing after a rubbish week off suffering from chronic parcel stress. I'm not as fit as last time I owned a 35lb bike but, you know what? I don't care . . . it's a riot on the downs 😛

Oh and one of my lads is now home from Uni with my eldest returning next week. The 'dirt' house will be full once again and I can play 'mama' 😀

Healing vibes to all those poorly folks too.

Emz I kind think the same but for a special occasion I might one day make an exception 🙂

Deffo go soon! The summer stuff is awesome.

See, I love White Stuff clothes but whenever I try them I just look stupid 🙁

Tall - try 6'2" - or 188cm for emsz!!

I thought it would be more of a problem than it is, though.

You could go for a Kath Kidston kinda style to the fabric and it would look completely different to your average banner

If only I had the same inspiration with my hair...

It's all very rubbish isn't it. Kath Kidston is a good idea. All I want is a reasonably sized banner to hang above the cake which will set against a white wall (with us between the cake and wall when cutting obv) so something large enough to be really noticeable above our heads when we cut the cake

Dont even get me started on hair. I had a trial run last week and I can't decide for the life of me what to do with it. Was very pretty but not really me 🙁

Dress talk aside ( been there, survived it), me and and a coupla mates did the black at Kirroughtree today, trails dry and swoopy, bike hoovered it all up and had a great day. Came home to a lovely home cooked Diinner and even managed to get a leaking boiler sorted out in time to put my wee boy to bed. An awesome day!
Af is a bitch, also sending positive vibes out to all and hoping that any dress related stresses are abated soon. Oh aye, I've heard that coast stuff is lovely but VERY expensive... £200 for a
Dress? I could get a wheel for that!!

I love Kirroughtree - I never seem to tire of it.

Glad you had a good day there and maybe you have just reminded me to get back up there...

lol @althepal I know but the friends I have who would spend £200 on a dress wouldn't be able to comprehend £200 on a wheel either. Personally I'd rather spend it on a wheel but tis fun trying on the dresses 🙂

I'm off too. Night night x
