Another "posh boy"

[img] [/img]
Michou.

He didn't come from the pretty parts of Toulouse. Not a "posh" man at all. A very, very down to earth, very humble man in person, but oh my days what a mercurial player!

And what about Fabien Pelous? That well known [s]posh boy[/s] farmer's son from the countryside outside of Toulouse?
[img] [/img]

Of course, beyond France, there's the utter legend that is
[img] [/img]
Big John Hayes

And how about that other toff,

Anyone going to link to [s]Gloucester's[/s] England's tries for me the other night, then?

Oh, and I reside on the Tump - the shed is too expensive for me.

You'd have to say Piggie, probably the top Northern Hemisphere side at the moment, wouldn't you? Finally realising their potential. They're going to rip the shit out of the 6N next year.

DD 😀

A-A shit the bed you are mean. I thought they looked good so far, couple of mistakes but the Aussies also made some mistakes. They are there for the taking (as they were last week).

No question they have at least stepped up. To the mark in this tour.

Anyone who watched the 6 N would have agreeded Scotlands results did not reflect their play, not by a long shot.

We have a hard autum test befor the 6N so let's get that out of the way first, 2 out of 3 would do me in that!

wales played better second half, but again scrum reffing was awful, and as for that maul pen at the end that was shocking, at my most generous I would say the aussie's had the ref in their pocket at worst it looked like blatent favouritism.

Brian Moore ?@TAFKAbrianmoore
#wordfortoday Propitious - def. to be favourably disposed towards - as in Craig Joubert was not towards the Welsh.

When the AB are in this type of mood, they're untouchable.

Did Ireland even look like scoring? A shut out is unbelievable.

The All Blacks had so more intensity and physicality it was unbelievable. Ireland were just bouncing off them. A pretty embarrassing performance from them.

Missed the Italy game then? You don't lose (or win) 5 games on the bounce by luck.

From the BBC Website (live commentary page)

INTERMISSION
Two defeats for the home nations, but in two very different fashions. Wales have to learn to win close games, Ireland just have to learn to play like New Zealand - good luck with that.

I'll be back for the build-up to the South Africa v England match, which kicks off at 16:00 BST. Why not send in your thoughts ahead of that game as England try to avoid the 3-0 series whitewashes suffered by Wales and Ireland - you can text on 8111, or tweet using #bbcrugby.

Why would they intentionally ignore the Scotland match/result?

so unless England win only Scotland will register a win for the northern hemisphere.

I guess it's because Scotland have beaten a 2nd string Australian team and 2 teams from the 2nd tier of international rugby. Good on them for winning three games but I don't think they should start celebrating a possible Grand Slam quite yet.

Piss taking aside, I'm actually pleased for the scots. They took such a pounding at the 6N I thought their heads might go down. It was quite sad to watch.
Nice to see them get a few wins now. Well done the scots!

No, no, they should. They really should. I think this could be a turning point. A real quantum shift in the NH power-base. Definitely realistic GS contenders for 2013.

Lets see if I have this right NH teams have played 9 internationals won 3 lost 5 and drawn 1

Bravo Scothchland I guess the sais will turns todays draw into a victory of sorts and Wales can't win even when they are the better team. All in all quite depressing.

Well fronted up and DRAWN by England. Farrell needs to be demoted IMO but otherwise a good team performance.

Well done england. Not sure why you think wales were the better team Aus had the edge in most areas except scrum and the ref wouldnt ref that aspect.

Any different to what you expected then? I thought Wales had a chance to get a win, but expected the others to all lose.
England fought well to get a draw, but rather benefited from SA's deficiencies than doing anything particularly good themselves. Better than last week though!
