CHERRYS! the cherry tree has taken pity on me and finally done THIS :mrgreen:

would a cherry and rhubarb pie/crumble work? because the raised beds are in overdrive as well, the amount of water they are taking has gone through the roof in this hot weather, but the rhubarb looks awsome

cheery ice cream :), or if you have a juicer get some apples, cherry's and orange.

you will love it!

they can take years to give fruit apparently, ours is 15years old and this is only the second time its given fruit, last year it fruited for the first time but the blackbird in the garden noticed before me, this year i was ready for him,
i'll leave him a few when i pick them,
only a few though

potatoes, its a pop up barrel thing from the pound shop, works a treat! 2nd year i've used it and its perfect for potatoes
just pulled this up as well, bit bigger than the raddish's at tescos ๐Ÿ˜€

picked some last night and dusted off the ice cream maker, stewed the cherrys with a bit of suger to make a lumpy cherry jam and then used it to make ice cream, WOW! home made cherry ice cream is somethin else indeed, its lurrrvvley 8)

Aside from the usual suggestions I made glace cherries with some of last years crop - a pain in the harris to make but were grand with vanilla ice cream. We also pickled a fair few in brandy - again really good with deserts...
