So my fiance is away for the weekend, I've got in some beers & crisps and a new HD projector is in its box grinning at me.

So STW give me your YouTube / Vimeo adventure film recommendations - anything from ultra running, kayaking, big mountain skiing, sailing and maybe even some cycling...

The old films about kayaking Everest are great.

For a more modern take I like ride your f##king bike on YouTube. Wheel love is just out. Thought it was ok. Worth a watch.

You could go to steepedge and buy a couple. Some propper adventure films then.

Death grip is ok, but some great pics.

The Steve peat film is great.

The single-track one is worth a watch too.

Just my opinion.

Fiance away, projector tv, 25 posts in and no suggestion of hd rudey films?

This place is going to the dogs.... 😉

I would second the kayaking Everest film, and also maybe Tsangpo Gorge, another kayaking one, though a bit American.

Hooks is good. Berkeley marathons is great. Crossing the ice is brilliant.

A few up there I haven’t seen, will save the thread for later!

North of the Sun  2 dudes build a shelter on a beach in Norway to spend the winter in, surf and snowboard

Crossing the ice - mad Aussies do the ridiculous, ridiculously underprepared - brilliant fun, lovely guys.

Solo - Andrew McAuley's adventure to cross the Tasman Sea solo in a kayak.

"It's something that's really out there - it's more full-on than anything that I ever imagined.

"It's just wild, but it's a true, true stunning adventure.
