wild Strawbs

that reminds me of my little girl, she'd go out in the garden and bend right over, as toddlers can, so she could look up under the leaves, and as soon as the wild strawberries showed the first blush of pink she'd eat them 🙂 Mind you, another time I found her happily sucking a slug 🙂

Can I just ask, is everyone elses wild Strawbs and Rasbs late this year as well?

Strawbs are out but Rasps aren't really due for a couple of weeks yet. That's Northumberland.

Oh, look, I've created a summer pudding.

That's the devil's work - taking delicious fruit and ruining it with soggy Wonderloaf!

Rasps are best - with single cream and meringue.

I hate those Elsanta strawberries ( that mc mentioned ^^). A good strawberry is fantastic.
Though raspberries do freeze well and we've got a good crop this year.
