Got a stag do for 16 in devon near Yeovil/taunton. Any ideas for something to do?

The groom isn't really into all the normal shooting, karting etc ideas.

Anything different? Have been thinking beer trails, nights out etc, but any suggestions welcome

Whereabouts in Devon? Yeovil & Taunton are both in Somerset 😆

EDIT: That's a very good point above!

We went sea fishing on my stag out of Ilfracombe. Barf-tastic on the morning after the night before 🙂

I remember catching a lot of dogfish, but it was fun.

How about a trip to Monkeyworld, followed by dinner at the Actual River Cottage?

On a serious note though, you probably want to avoid both Taunton and Yeovil for your night out. Have a think about Exeter or Lyme Regis.

As above, Exeter would be a good night out (avoiding any of the (very few) idiot RM recruits), but Lyme Regis??!

Just do it properly and get down to Torquay, get hammered all day, and make some pact about what goes on tour, etc etc.

More detail needed on realistic geographical location/time of year etc.

If you're actually near the coast a surf lesson?

I did a stag do years ago in Croyde Bay. We did a surf lesson from one of the surf schools there - it was freezing conditions (hailstones!), but they provided all the gear and we had a great time!

A day at the races? (if they're on). Bit more restrained if he's not very activity/outdoorsy oriented.
