There seems to be loads of design & build engineers on STW and I just wondered....

I have an old 650watt petrol generator and am thinking about swapping the knackered motor with a spool spring - similar to a bayliss windup radio.

I realise it would have to be non-portable and heavy, but I have a workshop wall I could hang it on and wondered if anyone knows the math ?

Cleaner, cheaper than batteries ? Run time to be about an hour
