Trawling ebay for something at a reasonable price with a few options- but there are a huge amount of sellers asking far too much for kerbed wheels or who don't list the sizes. Its just to have one in the boot.

Gumtree seems to be sets usually, are scrappies any good for this sort of thing?

Ideally 16 x6.5width x46 offset (112 fitting) but that seems to be current Leon/Octavia/Golf only!.

If it's a very specific wheel tire combo and it's a single you need

Look at mytires they do wheel tire combos

Also try - and I know it sounds silly but they do all sorts 4x4tyres.co.uk I've use them for single wheels and full sets without mad surcharges in the past

And if it's just for the boot - steel wheel all the way

Try asking on a local Freecycle group - a long shot but it may come up for you.

Scrappies used to be old but cottoned on to people buying them for winter wheels.

Any time I've been recently thy have produced proper scrap rusty nasty shit with bald tires on fir near new prices.... 13 years ago i used to get steelies with decent tires on for 15 quid a corner !

Try the dealer. Steel wheel might not actually be that expensive.

And as above, mytyres do wheel tyre combos as they were made popular by people wanting winter tyres.

See if there's an owner's club on the interwebz, like Briskoda for Skoda owners and look through their classifieds.
I needed a couple of alloys for my Octavia after two got trashed on the inside edge by potholes.
I found someone selling a set of four for £80, which someone else had just decided to buy for winter use on a Fabia, but who very kindly let me have them, as my need was far greater!
Got to be worth a shot.
