Calling any south lakes locals.....looking for a bit of advice.
This weekend we are staying in silverdale and have some friends coming to visit. We want to do a walk with a good pub or 2 to stop at and then a nice pub meal in the evening.
The options im thinking is either just stay local (walking from silverdale around that area) or to look a bit further afield to a day out in the southern lake district and then have a pub meal out before heading home.
Can anybody recommend any good ideas for walks and or pub restaurants?
Thanks as ever!
The Limestone Link is a good walk, but it's not over endowed with pubs en route.

The New Inn at Yealand Conyers is OK.
