The recipient certainly seemed to enjoy it.

Cracking voice though.

Huh, that’s reminded of of Mike Patton getting his taster out for a wazz at the Phoenix Festival sometime in the distant past

I've been to a lot of gigs, I've seen singers drop their trousers, I've seen singers throw their tampons into the crowd... but that, that was utterly bizarre. Bloke definitely knew what he was in for didn't he!? 'Kin weird. Shame they're a shitey covers band.

On this occasion (I believe there was quite a few) he basically just pranced about shooting fountains.

I'm now wondering whether the turd in a glass of beer thing actually happened, Brazil I think.

F**** YOU I WON'T PISS WHERE YOU TELL ME!

Put her name into reddit and the event in question came up.

Can't say the recipient looked like he was against the idea. In fact he looked really happy, fist pumping the air afterwards.

As an aside.... A few years back mate and I were stumbling around Hamburg drunk and got chatting to a few brasses (surprisingly friendly the girls in Hamburg...) and it turns out that being pissed on is a popular request.

Brass Against.... A bit shit, imo. (no, that wasn't a suggestion for their next performance.)

Probably not how Tool will want the audience warmed up on the 2022 tour. Might explain the ticket prices however.

Really? Plenty of covers bands around, hardly any bring something new to the formula, using a brass ensemble gives a whole new feel. Also, they’re not just covering one band, like all those doing exact copies of The Smiths, Morrisey, Pink Floyd, Oasis, blah blah blah.

Sound pretty damned good to me! I really want to see them just based on this video. Just the fact they’re brave enough to cover Tool is enough to get my attention!

As far as the peeing goes, that’s not as bad as Slipknot’s singer vomiting deliberately on stage.

Jeremy Deller was doing it ten years ago. (the brass band thing, not the weeing thing - thats a more Paul Macarthy thing)

What's the difference between a potato and a chick pea?

You don't pay to have a potato on your face.

I wonder what the media response would have been like had it been a male performer pissing on a female member of the audience?

If he'd stuck a cup to his fod to catch all of this lady wee how was he going to get up without getting it on his face? He hadn't thought that through.

Academic really I suppose, as she hosed him with about half a gallon.

As a method to increase their bands exposure it was pretty effective and by that I don't just mean her dropping her kecks

Never heard of them but I'm so out of touch with pop music - I used to know every band who'd had a Number One.

Just so we're clear I already had tickets to see them, I didn't just sign up in the hope of getting pissed on. They're bloody awesome and she's got a hell of a voice, I think I'd probably rather see them than the rather sad spectacle of later RATM going through the motions...

(nearly got hit by a jobbie thrown by the singer of Dillinger Escape Plan once, he spontaneously took a shit on stage at Leeds and threw it at the crowd. Then spontaneously did the same at Reading, and a bunch of other shows... But then I've been a Faith No More fan forever so I can hardly judge)
