Thinking [url= http://www.solatube.co.uk/Residential/solar-pipes-for-your-home/index.php ]this[/url] would be a good idea four our dark stairs/landing, costs around £200 for a kit but I don't fancy getting up on my roof so would want someone to install it. Can't find any guides to installation costs so thought I would ask here - anyone had one installed, if so what did it cost and is it any good?

A friend has some that were already installed in the house she's just bought. They were built in so don't know cost, they seem to work very well. As they're in a bathroom and loo, there's probably some saving from the heat loss there would be through a normal window.
