I'm involved with running a club, at the mo we have a Yahoo based email group and a Facebook page, and now we're thinking of using Twitter too.
I know there are ways of linking Facebook and twitter but is there a simple way to include the email list in there too? It'd be handy to only have to send one message rather than 3.
TIA
You can definitely do it from google+. Push to FB via Twitter and include an email group as well.
The links it pushes are a bit cumbersome but if its just for sending out info it will be fine.
For the email I think they all need to be in a circle (i.e on G+), so I guess the work around would be to set yourself up an email account with an auto forward to your yahoo group, put it in a G+ circle and include it when you post. You'll need to look at the posting options on G+ for the best way.
Easier options may be available.
Are you just trying to communicate with members ?
If you are then pick a platform and let everyone know what it is. You don't need to spread your messages all over the place if you are just wanting to inform a defined group.
Thanks amv - I was hoping there was a nice ready made platform to take care of it rather than jumping through hoops (or circles).
Neal - the trouble is that the younger members are all over FB and Twitter and barely check their email, whereas a lot of the old folk are email only types. If there's an easy enough way to use all the channels from one place then why not?
Not sure if you could do something with Ifttt?

You can post to Facebook by email, so you could just add the Facebook update address to your mailing list.
