Who's referreeing on Wednesday?
stunning double save by Kepa! finally living up to the price tag! ? and another from a point blank header!
Milner in at right back for Liverpool due to Konate being out. Gomez at centre half. 😳😳😳
Shame as I was looking forward to Konate up against Haaland.
You absolutely love to see it.
Well what do I know - Milner and Gomez were outstanding! Hope Jota’s injury isn’t bad. Nunez decision making though……he’s going to have to do some to shake of the Andy Carroll moniker!
What a great win! Klopp has beaten Pep 11 times now, 4 more than any other manager! Much as I love Klopp though, he really needs to set a better example with his behaviour towards referees and officials - the standard is set from the top…

That was an absolutely cracking match! The refereeing is so much better this season in letting the game flow

It’s not often I agree with Maureen but he was right when he said that if he carried on like Klopp did he’d be getting red cards every week.
Gomez would be first choice if not for injuries, he just needs a run in the team
A little bit of moralising from binbins. Another thing you absolutely love to see. 😂
You love it! 😃
Anyway… who’s this new Gomez bloke?
You used to have a defender called Gomez but he was just a bench-warmer as he was rubbish!

He had his days 18 months back and looked ace. But recently he's made me want to buy Maguire from you.
I didn't see today's game as I was out. But glad he's played better
He was outstanding! Man of the match, and deservedly so
I do seem to recall he was quite prone to Maguire-esque howlers in the past
He's had awful luck with injuries to be fair. During the title winning season he was first choice with Van Dijk.
So with Rice rejecting a mega pay packet that even a banker would consider, which big club will the Ireland/England international go to?
Chelsea for sure. I think he was there as a kid - and let go? Big mates with Mason Mount apparently. He wouldn't improve City (Rodri, with Phillips as understudy) and United have Casemiro now. Can't see him at Liverpool - I think they will put everything into trying to get Bellingham.
Hi, just logging in to say that Arsenal are still top of the league
Log back in after Christmas and try again. Might do a Leicester though...
Key for Arsenal is injuries given lack of depth in the squad. Keep a settled side fit for the league and play the reserves in the cups and you never know. I expect though a spanking from City will occur and dent confidence.
We were very lucky against Leeds yesterday. It will all come crashing down soon enough, I'm sure. Still think top 4 is our target and I think we could find ourselves battling for that from Christmas onwards.
Anyone hear Greame Souness defending Klopp this morning on TalkSport? Saying that we should all cut them some slack as they are under huge pressure in the most competitive league in the world. He's an arse. There's no excuse for a grown professional man losing his temper over a tackle on a football pitch and getting sent off. It's one of the reasons I've fallen out of love with football.
Yeah, even Klopp agreed with it, maybe he'd think different if they'd lost, it was for shouting down the assistant as well as combined antics on the day.
Reality is that Liverpool still have a battle, they are at pretty much full strength just now, but one or two injuries from the World Cup and they could be back struggling, Man City had an off day as well, can't see many weeks where so many of their starters aren't at the races.

Yep - I couldn't believe how many let-offs you guys got and lots of people saying that disallowed goal right at the start of the second half should have stood too. I was gutted when we missed the penalty 🙁
Klopp did get sent off for being an arse so not sure what the issue is.
MOTD said last night that VAR reported either of City’s infringements would’ve had that goal disallowed so no grounds for complaint.

In a most matches, the Haaland shirt tug on Fabhino would have been a foul, in the context of the way this game was refereed and the amount of challenges that was allowed, it was a harsh decision, no point refereeing a game to allow the game to flow and then when that results in a goal deciding to review it and apply a different standard. It wasn't an awful decision though, just out of step with how the game had been refereed in general. I really want to hear the comms between the ref and the var officials, did the ref miss the tug on the shirt completely, or was he persuaded to change his mind.
It would have been an awful decision though to disallow the goal for Haaland and Alison challenging for the same ball.
Why is watching footie on Prime so juddery. Tried, Roku and the fire TV stick.
Spurs have just got out of their own half on the stroke of half time.
Is in Conte they’ve got as manager? Or Maureen in disguise?
Only got 45 minutes to get their penalty as well, cutting it tight!
Funnily enough we made the same comparison sat on the stand on Saturday. Tbf, it's been lively and competitive
Could go either way this.
They’ll have to venture over the half way line now
That was a better goal
Something stirring Binners? United have been excellent - on the front foot and aggressive.
Looks like the spursey spurs turned up tonight. Kane's not even fallen over that much.
Soundly beaten second half.
Ronaldo didn't look happy, guess that'll be the big story tomorrow!
Was a weird game, ManU have so much quality in their squad, so always able to do this, Spurs sitting back and countering just wasn't going to work, and Conte never changed it until way too late.
Spursey
They never turned up. I can understand playing like a Maureen side at nil nil, but still playing like that when you’re 2 down?
That was an excellent performance by United though. Bruno was superb. Antony looking great again too. But we looked solid all over. Fred got on the scoresheet Ffs 😂
And Ronnie can **** right off with his ME ME ME strop. He needs to be gone
Said it a few pages back, you have pretty much the most expensive squad in the league, with so many good players just needing a structure and confidence, this isn't some miracle that ManU are winning and battling for the top 4, this is what should have been done over the last few seasons.
Still think a forward is needed to really push ahead, Rashford ran a lot tonight and was always available, but his touch is still not great, especially in tight games like this, you then have Martial who is hot and cold, and injured, and then Ronaldo if he manages to turn up, it's not really up there with the front lines of the others.
I'd hazard a guess they already have a wish list to fix that area though, they're not that far away from competing and need to get a real foothold with the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham starting to make the top 4 a real battle every season.
That was an excellent performance by United though
Watched it on Match of the Day and they were great to watch.
Liverpool being more Spursy than Spurs this season 😂
Yep, that was a dreadful performance. Apart from set pieces no creativity at all. Would have lost by more were it not for Allison.
The Berkshire Behemoth put Bristol back in its place after three losses in a row.
It wasn't a good performance by Liverpool but they had a lot of good chances, on another day a few of them might have gone in.
Bringing McFred on to have their usual
Dramatic impact 🙄
What a turgid game that was. Neither deserved to win.
It was awful

Just seen the goals on Sky, Shane Long crossing to Andy Carroll......surely when the combined age of scorer and assistor is that big the goal should count double?
