I've moved house a few times in the last couple of years and every time updated my phone no and address with the bank TSB etc, but somehow it doesn't stick with those useless c#@#5 at tsb, I won't bore you with the shenanigans, but I've now discovered again my address has reverted to two properties previous, I'm shaking with rage.
I'll be moving my account just needed to vent, thanks for reading.
That sounds very like dodgy back-up practices/corrupted data at their IT centre.

How does that breach GDPR?

Amongst the 5 principles of GDPR
accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (‘accuracy’);
^ I'm will RB. Using innacurate data for communicating financial information is poor practice - particularly when they've had two opportunities to get it right.
My brother's personal and business accounts have been pilfered twice by TSB personnel.
The first time they were really arsey until it was proven to be internal fraud. They refused to get the police involved and my brother was furious. They basically bribed him by giving him great business rates for a while. Then it happened again and all hell broke loose.
He no longer banks with them, someone is in prison and a branch manager had to hide in his office to avoid my angry brother.
My parents were with them for about 20yrs until they had bad experiences.
Utter arseholes
That is absolutely a breach of gdpr. They should be taking that very very seriously.
I discovered they, TSB,had spelt my address wrongly, not by much but sufficiently for my private pension provider to reject as they wanted an accurate current statement to make payments into the account. It took 7 attempts to get this done correctly.
Just worth checking if it's a joint account, that both parties' details match. You'd think that if you did an address change that it would apply to all the account, apparently it doesn't.
It is so easy to change banks now, just call First Direct other banks are available but there customer service is excellent, they will do everything for you manage all DD standing orders and I believe they are still giving you £125.
The only way to make companies know you are not satisfied is to take your custom elsewhere
In all honesty, show me a bank that isn’t a shower of merde!
Business banking with HSBC is a constant frustration.
I’ve been with the same branch, firstly Lloyds, then Lloyds TSB, now TSB, for 30 years.
TSB, sadly, is light-years behind other banks, notably Starling. I will move at some point, particularly as the USP of having local branches is no more.
Definitely worth investigating alternatives after your experience!

Work moved to Starling late last year as a result of this.
It's not just TSB. Nationwide consistently revert my address to one that I lived at 10 years ago every six months or so. I usually find out about it when a credit card transaction is declined due to the addresses not matching.
I wish they would revert my mortgage back to the small number that went with the old house though.
