I used to hate christmas.
All that you must go here, you must go there, you must have a good time bullshit.
Opted out of it around 25 years ago and now get to do our own thing without all the crap as family have finally realised that it's not a personal insult.
I actually quite like it now.
Apart from the christmas drinkers* but that's a whole other thread...
*Yes mate you can wave your money about as much as you want but I'll still get served before you because i'm in here more than once a year.
I love xmas for the magic and romance of it, just don't want to spend it with family.
Just me and the Mrs and the dog, maybe a paddle or walk in the snow, watch the wizard of Oz, that kind of thing.
