Was pleasantly surprised by Aviva multi car deal. Included our T4 for I think under £400 despite the no claims being all used up on our other cars. And my licence isn't as clean as it should be.

I've found the specialist van insurers (CVD for last few years) a pain if you want to change anything - admin fees - so as well as it being quite cheap I was glad to get it onto a normal car insurer and also to have just one policy for all cars. No experience with claims though.

Give brentacre a call they deal with modified vw vans and one offs,

Private use van insurance I.e non business is generally more expensive.

been a year or so but whoever came up cheapest on the van comparison sites (with the stuff I wanted)

generally under £400 Fully Comp with work travel/use ans a sensible excess.

will depend where you live mostly, do you have any car insurance to compare to, £300 sounds like good value if it's fully comp.

Private use van insurance I.e non business is generally more expensive.

never found that to be the case, made very little difference adding on work for mine and was coming out comparable with an Octavia Estate that was parked next to it with the same people insured.
