How little you know me:
1) My van has rear windows
2) My van does in fact have steelies
3) My tree is flown in from Norway on a specially chartered An-225 🙂

That tree was supposed to go to Edinburgh but went missing. It left Scots pining.
Oakay, it wasn't great roadcraft, but it's no big monkey puzzle why he did it. Youd be coconuts to pay the cost of delivery these days, and he probably didn't want to palm the job off on someone else.
