I had an instructor. Never been in one before, they had the sense not to give me the keys and go "off you go then, son."

I had a flight in one those as birthday present from my many years ago. After watching Airwolf and various other TV shows where they would yank the controls about I was shocked at how very sensitive the controls actually were. I still really enjoyed it and would love to do it again.

It's actually got a damn good safety record, problem is it's the cheapest heli out there, so picked up by playboys who think they can fly just cos they've got the cash. And guess what, they can't.
Bloody good fun though, if not a tad scary.
