Grinders. Dark brown, leather soled, discreet and cool 8)
Should I start line dancing and key-in-bowl parties?
grow a moustache
*embarrasing Dad alert*
Is this the start of the end?(
I fear that might have started some considerable time ago
Do you think you're Gene Hunt? You're not dead are you?
mmm. Looking at that picture of Brokeback Mountain I think I'm actually going to go out and get myself a pair of boots.
Jake Gyllenhaal. Oh yes.
😀
I hope they don't clash with your assless chaps 😳
He's ugly IMO. If I was that way inclined I reckon the bad guy out of 'The Mummy' is more smouldering?Jake Gyllenhaal

Not that you've given it much thought...
My mate has a genuine cowboy Winchester rifle that he bought by mistake from Bonhams in London. Only problem is the bullets hit the target sideways. Thats gota hurt. Any good?
Ooooh can us girlies have a pic of Clint? A real man, in a hat and boots. 8)
I'm needing a swoon. 😉
Ooooh, thank you so much hora. 8) He is my kind of man!
hora - why did you get some cowboy boots then? Is this what the trendy Northern male is now wearing?
I've always liked cowboy boots- worn discreetly under good jeans and worn in they can look good.
I guess you have to be really comfortable with yourself and what you like to wear something that isn't really fashionable for males to wear.
I bought a pair of black cowboy boots from Dans Boots and Saddles in Albuquerque when I was cruising about New Mexico on a big Harley but the laws of common decency means that they have sat in the bottom of my wardrobe since I came back.
Hora.....never wear them in public (or private for that matter) but leave them somewhere visible so you are reminded of your foolishness 😉

There's no doubt you are comfortable with yourself Hora, otherwise you wouldn't post half the stuff that you do, normal people would recoil with the horror, a bit like wearing cowboy boots. 😉
ken_shields- what size are you? Pics?
'London Boots' in Nottingham is good for that kind of thing.
Allegedly. 🙄
Fair enough! I did hear that desert boots are making a comeback, is this true?

For the last two years, yep.
Just one step away from the horror that is....
ARGHHH. So this to you is like those Ugg's are to me? 😯
Desert boots? As in the US issue army boots?!
Desert boots as in Clark's! Reminds me of the 70's. 😯
Grinders eh Hora? thats a very erm, "butch" sounding brand
Oh my word. 😯
Thats what mrshora said. When Wild at Heart first came out I went and bought snake skin shoes 😀
are they SPD compatible?
Subtle they ain't!
Cinnamon girl I look exactly like Clint Eastwood.........
after 26 pints of WKD 😥
i always wanted a pair of em? still think i should have been born in the 1800's in the US.
my son and his GF bought me a pre-loved pair for christmas, they are black and under jeans look pretty neat...imho
wife has refused to been seen out with me if i wear them in public.
Have to admit I own several pairs. But then I'm a fully paid up member to the whole "country" scene...
I used to wear cowboy boots a lot with bootcut levis etc during the garage rock revival of the early 00s (see bands like Jet and the Datsuns for further evidence).
At the time I was working in the music biz and touring as a support DJ for lots of big bands. I actually spent £280 on a pair with a wooden heel I don't wear them today as they are a bit midlife crisis though.
I do still wear a pair of big square toed black engineer boots, but they look a lot less camp and make me an inch taller.
mega, had mine 10 years! Sadly London Boots aint there no more.
Are they for the cuban heel effect Hora?
size 11 maybe 12 and sorry no pics as I'm at work
I got mine from The Alberta Boot Company.
I love them and wear them quite often. Proper bootcut (i.e. very long) jeans required.
Non-cuban heel so they are slightly more discrete.
