Late notice, I usually stay at the basic (but very close to the pub) campsite at Bryn Tyrch but my mate wants to bring the dog and they don't accept them.
Does anyone know of a dog friendly site in that part of the world that:-
A. Is open on NYE
B. Is walking distance from a pub as it gets dark at 4.30pm and I don't fancy spending the whole evening in a tent!
Camping Llanberis up by the Llanberis YHA. About 10-15 min walk out of the centre and the heights, takes dogs, fires allowed and pretty sure it’s open all year round. Basic and limited flat pitches, but good value and the owners / farmer are very friendly. As it’s a working farm dogs have to kept on a lead
Thanks, I've gone with Torrent Falls just outside of Dolgellau after, has all the above and means I can have a wander in the Arenigs / Rhinogs which I've been meaning to do for ages.
I'll keep the Llanberis one in mind for later in the Spring!
I did a cracking ride in the Rhinogs last year. Great place to ride, very tough with some pushing/hiking mind but great place for an adventure.
