Kitted out for an attempt on the Trango Towers, stood on Mam Tor or Snowdon moaning about plebs in flip-flops 🩴

If you get out of your car for a stroll around Richmond Park you'll see plenty of people dressed like this, prepared for the wilderness of west London, never more than a few 100m metres from a road, car park or coffee. Walking sticks, backpacks, everything. I always used to feel underdressed wearing a holey pair of baseball boots, jeans and a t-shirt.
