Evening all

We are on the lookout for a small home printer for documents, university work and printing the odd photo here and there.

Thing is I know nothing about them having always used the ones at work for this sort of thing but it would be quite useful to have one indoors now.

So whats a good quality but not uber expensive to run home printer these days?

TIA ๐Ÿ™‚

Your at the opposite ends of what printers are good at. A laser would do all the document stuff and be cheap to run but won't really do photos. As soon as you add that into the mix then you need expensive inks and paper plus be forever buying ink. Personally I'd get a laser for docs then pop into boots for the odd photo.

As above

Or look at the hp instant ink stuff if you really want colour. The problem with occasional prints is that the cleaning cycle eats ink. The instant ink idea gets by that in some ways
