I once learnt the first 50 digits of pi. Not sure whether it’s worth the effort to go for the World record or not?!
The world champion is Akira Haraguchi, who in 2006 recited 100,000 digits of pi from memory at a public event near Tokyo. It took him 16hrs 30mins. This feat makes him the master pi-man, even though the Guinness Book of records has not validated his record.
I think the trick to Morse is to learn it in both sight and sound, just as you would any language.
(I mean lamps and sound, as opposed to dots and dashes written down)
CountZero, if you like QI, then try the no such thing as a fish podcast.
