Does anyone know of a reasonably priced company that will come out to repair what is to my eyes, very small and insignificant damage to paintwork on a bumper. Autoglass just quoted over £400 !!
If it's your bumper, close your eyes and ignore it.
If it's someone elses bumper that you've damaged, how it appears to your eyes is irrelevant.
One of these Chips Away type franchises is probably your best bet
Is it actually insignificant damage, or is it as you say small "to your eyes" but the impact-absorbing structural innards are completely donald ducked?
structurally its fine - ultra slow speed - barely moving

If it was mine I wouldn't care. the owner does care despite having a humungous dent in the tailgate that apparently is fine 😂
The cheapest won't do a great job - I went for the cheapest once, a local guy, and you could see the repair really clearly. I went with Chips Away the next time some pillock scraped my car and you'd never had known it'd been fixed.
Tbf after being in the same situation just give it to your insurance co.
